Goan Cafe N Resort sits right on Morjim Beach, one of the quietest and cleanest stretches of sand in North Goa. What began in 1996 as a small beach café with one table and three chairs, run by a local Goan fishing family, has grown into a relaxed resort of tree huts, beach cottages, sea-view rooms and studio apartments — still run by the Lobo family, and still famous for its warm welcome.

Wake to the sound of the Arabian Sea, swim in the pool, eat the day’s catch at our beach restaurant and watch the sun go down from a free sunbed. Guests return year after year from the UK, Russia, France, the USA and across India — many say it feels like a second home.

WHY MORJIM

The quieter side of North Goa

Morjim lies on the north bank of the Chapora River in Pernem, away from the crowds of Baga and Calangute. It is known for its wide beach, birdlife, beach shacks and the endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles that nest here each winter. Ashwem, Mandrem and Arambol are a short ride north; Chapora Fort and Vagator are just across the river.
