Goan Cafe began in 1996 as a beach café with one table, three chairs and a very good kitchen. Food is still at the heart of the resort. Our family restaurant and beach restaurant serve fresh seafood straight from the local boats, traditional Goan dishes and Indian and international favourites, from breakfast to late dinner.

From the fishing boats to your plate

The Lobo family comes from a line of Morjim fishermen, and it shows. Ask what came in that morning — kingfish, pomfret, prawns, squid, crab or lobster — and have it grilled, fried with rava, or cooked in a spicy Goan recheado or coconut curry.

Breakfast included

Complimentary breakfast is served every morning in the main restaurant from 7:15 am to 10:15 am. Expect a mix of Indian, Goan and continental options — eggs your way, toast, fruit, tea and coffee.

Special diets and celebrations

Vegetarian dishes are always available and we are happy to adapt meals for allergies and dietary needs — just tell us. For birthdays and anniversaries we can set a table on the beach or beside the pool; see private celebrations.
