PLANNING
Goa Weather & Climate
A tropical coastal climate with three clear seasons.
Goa has a tropical monsoon climate: warm all year, with a dry season from October to May and a wet monsoon from June to September.
Winter (November–February)
Days of about 30–32°C, nights of 20–22°C, low humidity and almost no rain.
Summer (March–May)
Temperatures climb to 33–35°C with high humidity. Sea breezes help on the coast.

Monsoon (June–September)
Most of Goa’s annual rainfall arrives in these months, often in heavy bursts. The sea is rough and red flags are up on beaches.
Post-monsoon (October)
Occasional showers, green landscapes and rising temperatures as the season begins.
Tips
- Check forecasts from the India Meteorological Department before travelling
- Carry sunscreen year-round
